Corus Steelworks, Scunthorpe
At the Corus site in Scunthorpe, we equipped the Control Room with a dual array of LCD monitors to provide remote monitoring of the two blast furnaces.
The camera images are accessed via AMX Modero touch screen control panels and a Saville Intellect control system. Some of the display screens include an image splitting facility, allowing four pictures to be viewed simultaneously.
In the adjacent Visitors Room, we installed a 60” SMART Board with a ceiling mounted projector, enabling interactive presentations to be given to groups of visitors with a viewing window into the Control Room.
