Supplying integrated solutions to control audio, video, computer and environmental systems, Crestron streamlines technology, improving the quality of life in commercial buildings, universities, hotels, hospitals and homes.
With its revolutionary DigitalMedia 8G technology, Crestron has now taken another giant stride into ultra-high speed, long distance data transmission.
Crestron DigitalMedia™ 8G
TechnologyDigitalMedia™ 8G is the first true single wire, high-output network. It delivers unprecedented ultra-high speed and long distance transmission of all data, Ethernet and control, plus analogue and digital AV signals.
All signals and communications are managed over a single shielded CAT5 wire or multimode fibre strand; no compression or repeaters required. Installation is now faster, cheaper and easier than ever.
DigitalMedia™ 8G far surpasses the one gigabit throughput of standard Ethernet networks. 8G is the world’s first AV distribution and control transport solution that delivers an eight gigabit pipeline for each input and each output. DigitalMedia™ 8G preserves the native video resolution and audio format of every signal, ensuring a pure, lossless signal path. The result is the highest quality and most reliable HD digital entertainment experience available.
Crestron DigitalMedia™ 32x32
Switcher Crestron’s new DM-MD32X32 is the largest matrix switcher available in the DigitalMedia™ product line. Designed for facility-wide distribution, the 32x32 is field configurable and card-based, with a wide variety of input and output card options. This makes it easy to choose just the right combination of features needed in each project and built-in software tools simplify troubleshooting, commissioning and optimisation of system performance.
The switcher accepts and distributes any combination of AV signals including VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, 3G-SDI, Ethernet and USB keyboard/mouse control (for controlling a computer or other host device at a different location). Transmission can run hundreds of metres over a single twisted pair cable or up to around 300 metres via fibre, with every AV signal preserved in its native video resolution and audio format.
