Hammersmith Conference Centre, London

Situated within Hammersmith Hospital, the newly established Hammersmith Conference Centre is part of the UK’s largest NHS Trust, formed through the merger of two of the country’s best hospitals and integration with a world-class university to become the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre.

The Centre’s new, state-of-the-art facilities are designed to handle diverse needs, including specialist training courses such as Radiological Anatomy and Echocardiography.

AUdio Visual System

Saville won the contract to equip the centre with a fully integrated audio visual system, featuring a custom-built screen and a high spec Sanyo XT25 projector, with ceiling mounted plasma repeater screens.

The hand built lectern accommodates a Saville Intellect controller, an intuitive AMX Modero touch screen panel plus SMART Technologies’ interactive Sympodium touch screen interface. The Sympodium tablet enables images and computer information to be accessed, manipulated and annotated on screen from the lectern. The system also incorporates an Elmo Visual Presenter plus high performance voice reinforcement with twin gooseneck microphones. This is one of six rooms equipped with integrated AV facilities of varying complexity, featuring exclusive Saville control systems and networked Sanyo projectors.
