at the HERITAGE MOTOR CENTRE

Close to the M40 and home to the worlds greatest collection of British Cars

The University of Chester chose Saville to supply and install a sophisticated new lecture theatre system in the Riverside Building, part of the new Riverside Campus, which accommodates the Faculty of Health and Social Care and the Faculty of Education and Children’s Services.

The system is one of the first to incorporate touch control using an Apple iPad with software programmed in-house by the Saville technical team.

We also equipped over forty teaching rooms with AV furniture, interactive boards and AV projection systems. The contract was one of the first to specify bespoke lecterns and furniture from the exclusive new Saville Academy range.

 

 

Lecture Theatre

In the elegant lecture theatre, we installed a 6000 lumen Panasonic projector at the rear, with a four-metre wide electric screen. Control is provided from an AMX system mounted within the lectern and operated from an AMX Modero touch panel or a wireless Apple iPad. The high performance sound system features Nexia digital sound processing plus hand-held and tie-clip radio microphones.

A key feature is the bespoke lectern designed, equipped and finished to the University’s specification, with built-in microphone, Elmo visualiser and rack-mounted source equipment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seminar Rooms

An enormous range of equipment was selected and installed in seminar rooms, laboratories and conference spaces, including interactive SMART boards, projectors and bespoke Saville Academy cabinets with Extron control systems. The total value of the project was in excess of 300K.
