Colin Nixey appointed as Financial Director
A change to the Saville board has been announced, with Colin Nixey appointed as Financial Director, following the retirement of Ron Allpress.
Colin has been with the company for 21 years and qualified as a certified accountant in 1992. For the past five years his role has been Divisional Manager for our growing Conference and Live Events division, including nationwide AV rental operations.
Ron Allpress was a director of the company from 1987 and one of the three-man board which effected a management buy-out from former chairman Michael Saville in 1996. Annual turnover at that time was £15 million and he helped guided the business through some testing trading periods to its present turnover of more than £34 million.
