Saville wins Conference Business of The Year

Saville has been supplying audio visual facilities for countless awards dinners and conferences at York’s top venues and hotels over the past thirty years, including the annual York Tourism Awards. Now that sterling service has won recognition for the company itself, winning the Conference Business of The Year award at this year’s ceremony.

The York conference and live events team has been headed by Dave Barrass for the past twenty years. Speaking about the award, he said: “We are very proud to be on the receiving end for the first time - it’s a tribute to the hard work and dedication of all our team at Nether Poppleton. It’s particularly pleasing to win in the company of such high quality finalists as the National Railway Museum and York Racecourse”.

The award coincides with yet another national success, at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2008, where Saville was named Hire Company of The Year (Events Sector) by the Hire Association Europe (HAE).
